Terms and Agreements
Responsibility and Use & Disclaimers: Renter is responsible for the use of the rented items. Renter assumes all risks inherent to the operation and use of rented items, and agrees to assume all responsibilities. Hereby releasing Risch’s Rentals from all claims for damage to property or bodily injury (including death) resulting from the use, operation, or possession of the rented items.
Rental Equipment Failure: Renter agrees to immediately discontinue the use of rented items, should it at any time become unsafe, or in a state of disrepair. No refund will be given for unsafe, broken, or damaged items.
Time of Return / Late Returns: Renter’s right of possession terminates upon the expiration of the rental period set forth on the contract. Any extension must be agreed upon in writing. Renter shall return rented items to Risch’s Rentals during regular business hours promptly upon or prior to expiration of rental period. If the renter does not timely return the items, the rental rate will continue until items are returned.
Payment: Renter shall pay all charges on the contract at time of order.
Cancellation / Refund Policy: If renter decides to cancel an order prior to the event, it must be done 14 days prior to the event. If renter cancels an order within 14 days of the event, Risch’s Rentals will retain 100% of canceled items. Renter has the option to move the rental date within 12 months of the canceled date, as long as the items are available. Security Deposit will be forfeited if order is canceled at any time.
Security Deposit: Renter shall pay a 25% refundable security deposit at time of order. This deposit will be refunded upon return on the items. Deposit will be forfeited if reservation is canceled at any time, or if items are returned damaged upon inspection by Risch’s Rentals.
Delivery / Pickup: Risch’s Rentals does not offer pickup or delivery service. Third party delivery/ pickup may be available upon request. Renter is responsible for delivery or pickup of items.
Pickup and Dropoff Time: Renter will receive one day before and one day after the paid rental day(s) for pick up and drop off of items. Renter will not be charged for pickup and dropoff days, unless items are returned after agreed upon dropoff time. Risch’s Rentals will contact the renter after the order is placed within a week of the rental period to schedule pickup and dropoff times.
Returns - Final Inspection: Risch’s Rentals reserves the right to modify charges for broken, missing, or damaged items (excluding normal wear and tear) up to 14 days after items are returned prior to Final Inspection.
Returned Checks: There will be a $35 charge on any returned check for any reason.
